In 1991, Central Baptist began a community work called Te Aroha Noa in the adjacent suburb of Highbury. This social ministry, beginning as a small cottage industry in the local community, has grown to become a major social and spiritual provider. Te Aroha Noa continues to provide invaluable early childhood services, parental support, ongoing adult education and counselling services to the Highbury community.
