Growing in faith together as a whānau

At Central Baptist, we want to walk alongside children and families as they grow in their relationship with God, both at home and within our church whānau.

We run age-tailored kids' programmes most Sunday mornings during the school term, focusing on God-centred learning.

Ngā Kākano o te Rongopai

Ngā Kākano o te Rongopai translates to "seeds of the gospel." This ministry serves children aged 3 to 4 years old. Programming includes morning tea, singing and dancing, Bible storytelling, and crafts each Sunday during term.

Parents with babies and toddlers (ages 0 to 2) are welcome to use the crèche.

CB Kids

Children aged 5 to 12 participate in a programme featuring singing, prayer, games, and Biblical storytelling.

Intermediate-aged children have separate small group reflections, while primary school children engage in hands-on activities like crafts.

Parental involvement

We believe that parents are the most influential faith builders in a child's life. We encourage parents to discuss faith with their children, and we provide weekly lesson information via Facebook or email to support home-based faith conversations.
