At Central Baptist, we want to help children and families grow in their relationship with God as they journey together and within our church whānau.
We run age-tailored kids’ programmes most Sunday mornings during the school term, focusing on God-centred learning.
Ngā Kākano o te Rongopai

Ngā Kākano o te Rongopai translates to “seeds of the gospel.” This ministry serves children aged 3-4 years old. Programming includes morning tea, singing and dancing, Bible storytelling, and crafts each Sunday during term. Parents with babies and toddlers (ages 0-2) are welcome to use the crèche.
CB Kids

Children aged 5-12 participate in a programme featuring singing, prayer, games, and Biblical storytelling. Intermediate-aged children have separate small group reflections, while primary school children engage in hands-on activities like crafts.
Parental involvement
We believe that parents are the most influential “faith builders” in a child’s life. We encourage parents to discuss faith with their children, and we provide weekly lesson information via Facebook or email to support home-based faith conversations.
